Time for the Greens!
Let’s get out of poverty
We, the Green Party, want a fairer taxation system and the basic Green allowance of €800 available for all those people who need it
- it prevents poverty and works against the rising unemployment rate
- it gives people with low wages the possibility of healthcare and education, and access to social support
- it prevents a two-class health system and makes life easier in general
- and an enforceable minimum wage of €7 per hour (gross)
Austria, the country of education
We, the Green Party, want a change in the current trend of the Austrian education policy. That means more money invested in education and
- Early promoting of abilities in nursery
- Free bettering classes instead of private after-school help
- A maximum of 25 students per class
- Individual skill promotion and massive rebuilding of mothertongue lessons
- Whole-day schooling and afternoon care
- The scratching of university fees and entry free
Priority for women
We, the Green Party, want to make women completely equal to men in all areas by
- helping women in education and further education
- increasing the amount of opportunities for women
- guaranteeing the right for childcare
- splitting the responsibilities of the home and of work fairly between partners
Changing Energy
We, the Green Party, want an origin-neutral social-ecological tax-reform, which makes the results of pollution visible and
- praises responsible handling with environment
- creates workplaces and supports the Austrian natural economy
- supports the move into the Solar Age
- moves us away from dependence on oil and atomic energy
Migration in Green
We, the Green Party, want to protect the right to asylum, organise immigration, promote human rights and integration by
- Making a fair processing system taking no longer than 6 months
- Bringing families together without quotas or obstacles
- Giving people the right of help during integration
- Granting citizenship after 5 years
- Implementing the green work-migration mode
